The GLOCK 17 Gen6 delivers enhanced ergonomics for increased usability and comfort with a unique optic ready system in a full-size package. The G17 pistol features a standard frame with a full-length side and a 17 round magazine capacity.
The ergonomic frame with palm swell, thumb rest, and Gen6 grip texture combines to create an intuitive design that locks in your grip. Gen6 pistols come optic-ready with a system engineered for adaptability and durability, and they come standard with a flat-faced trigger for consistent finger placement.
The SAFE ACTION® System is a fully automatic safety system consisting of three passive, independently operating, mechanical safeties. All three safeties disengage sequentially as the trigger is pulled and automatically re-engage when the trigger is released.
This new generation of GLOCK pistols integrates key ergonomic advancements, a flat-faced trigger design, and the Gen6 optic-ready system into one refined platform. The specially developed RTF6 texture now extends across more areas of the pistol, including the thumb rest, delivering superior grip and confidence in any situation.
The Gen6 was engineered not only for precision, reliability, and ergonomics – it was engineered for you.

- ENLARGED BEAVERTAIL: The enlarged beavertail encourages a higher grip while ensuring the slide can cycle freely.
- SLIDE STOP LEVER ENLARGED BORDER: The border surrounding the slide stop lever has been enlarged to prevent unintentional activation.
- THUMB REST: The thumb rest is textured and extended for increased control during recoil.
- GLOCK SERRATIONS: The slide serrations are angled deeper into the slide to make the surface engagement more tactile for slide manipulations.
