SPRINGFIELD M1A 308 WIN 22″ 10rd Semi-Auto Rifle- Blue | Standard Walnut Stock

Springfield M1A 308 Win – 22″ – 10RD – FDE is a semi-automatic rifle built with precision and excellence. Equipped with a 22″ barrel and blue finish, this gun has a sturdy and sleek appearance that is sure to stand out at the range.

One of the most striking features of this gun is its flat dark earth composite stock, which not only adds to its aesthetic value but also enhances its durability and reliability. The stock is designed to withstand tough environments and deliver optimal performance, providing a secure and comfortable grip that enables you to fire accurate shots even in challenging conditions.

Additionally, the Springfield M1A Standard is fitted with adjustable sights that allow you to customize the gun’s settings to align with your shooting needs. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced shooter, this gun’s sights are easy to set up and use, ensuring consistent and accurate shots every time.

From 1959 to 1970 the M14 served with distinction as the standard issue rifle of the United States military. When Springfield Armory in Geneseo, IL made the civilian legal variant, the M1A, available to the public in 1974, shooters were finally able to enjoy the same rifle that so many servicemen had utilized in the past.

The Standard Series is a faithful semi-auto only recreation of the original M14. Keep in mind that the Standard M1A is as well suited for a day at the range as it is for filling that special place in your military collection. All the design features that the Armed Services found essential for a battle rifle make the Standard M1A a great shooter. The windage and elevation adjustable rear sight minimizes the effort required to zero the rifle. The two-stage military trigger, detachable box magazine, op-rod and roller cam bolt call to mind the rich history of the M1A while providing functional ease of operation and legendary reliability.

You may be looking for a special addition to your collection, or you may be looking for a hard-working rifle that will pull duty on the range, in the treestand or in your truck. Iron Sights the M1A Standard Got Right the First Time

The sight setup is one of the best reasons to own this rifle. Up front you get a .062 inch National Match blade, and out back sits the military aperture rear sight with finger-adjustable MOA clicks for both windage and elevation. No tools, no fuss, just dial it in and hold. Plenty of .308 rifles need glass to shoot well at distance. This one does not, though the receiver can be set up for a scope down the road if you want the option. The long slotted flash suppressor rounds out that unmistakable M14 profile.

Shooting the .308 M1A Standard

At 8 pounds 8 ounces, this is not a lightweight carbine, and that is a good thing when you are sending 7.62 NATO downrange. The heft soaks up recoil and keeps the rifle settled between shots, making longer range sessions genuinely comfortable. The 1:11 twist barrel stabilizes heavier .308 loads well, so it handles everything from match ammo to hunting loads without complaint.

What Comes with the Springfield M1A FDE

Springfield includes one 10-round detachable box magazine plus a heavy-duty rifle bag with a padded foam shell, adjustable interior straps, and a muzzle protector. Whether this ends up as your match rifle, your woods gun, or the centerpiece of a military-inspired collection, the M1A Standard earns its spot. Rifles like this do not go out of style, and this one has fifty years of production behind it to prove the point.
